Podcast "Bolt-on OPACs"

I found this Bolt-on OPACs panel discussion podcast to be interesting. Panel members include many of the movers and shakers in the Next-Gen OPAC world.

Great discussion. I thought these points made by the guests were good.

1. Importance of relevancy ranking
2. Rapid implementation/flexibility is the new software development model
3. How do end users search for info? Looking outside libraries (google, etc.)
4. Future model: Data sharing with other systems (interoperability and social data)
